Automotive Batteries & WEEE
As a producer of automotive batteries under the Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009, we The Ace Supply Company Limited t/a Streetwize Accessories are obliged to collect, free of charge and within a reasonable time, waste automotive batteries for treatment and recycling from final holders e.g. garages, scrap yards, end-of-life vehicle Authorised Treatment Facilities, Civic Amenity Sites, etc.
We are required to do this in any calendar year we place new automotive batteries on the market.

We will agree the necessary arrangements for the collection, proper treatment and recycling of the waste automotive batteries.
WEEE (Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment) Compliance
Streetwize imports and supplies a range of electrical and electronic products (including 12V appliances, USB accessories, GPS trackers, lighting, and pumps) to trade customers across the UK.
As an importer of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE), we are registered as a "producer" under the WEEE Regulations 2013 and comply with our obligations regarding the reporting, recycling, and safe disposal of electrical waste.

What this means for our trade customers: Products marked with the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol ⚠ must not be disposed of in general household or commercial waste. They should be taken to a designated recycling point or returned via an authorised takeback scheme.
As we sell exclusively to trade customers, the distributor takeback obligation for end consumers sits with our retail customers at point of sale.
